In the first video it was a making fun of how people make a big deal of burning a cd off of limewire or some other illegal site. The video says that if you use an illegal site then you will do crack or even run over a child with your car. He also says that a 7 year old girl or a grandma would go to jail. All of these examples are ridiculous and couldn't happen in real life just from downloading an illegal song.
The second video about ebay is both a parody and a satire. The parody is when they were making fun of the backstreet boys song. The satire is making fun of how people buy junk that they don't even need. They spend so much money on stuff that will just sit around and never be used. One example he used was that people will buy anything that is said to be used from a movie.
@David: I agree with David's points, but I'm not too certain about the house thing. A, because I'm rather certain he was saying his house was constantly getting the junk he bought on Ebay - not that he bought the house on Ebay. Also, people have put their lives for sale on Ebay (no joke, read an article on it) so you never really know what you'll find on there.
The first video I have watched is parody. Why, because the music video is someone just talking about a random of things that you would buy on ebay. Example the toaster or a toy plane.
The second video I watched is was satire to me. Why, because it is the negative and wrong in life. The video explains that you should not download songs on any website and just buy the song at the store. Downloading the soong is illegal and leads to criminal affence. It can also lead to jail time with no chance of getting out early because you have downloaded the song instead of buying the song in the stores like you should.

Those sales go towards the Record Company. The song "Don't download this song" said "Diamond studded pool" as in the artist already has a hefty paycheck. The song included visuals of the armed forces taking action on a young boy as if he was a wanted criminal. It's an exaggeration of how you'd probably not even get in any trouble today.

i agree with @brunsonl2010 i think the second song is both a satire and a parody because it's entertaing but there are people out there that spend a lot of time buying "stupid things" from ebay and things that they probably do not really need. Its an addiction and some people do have problem with buying things online. ^_^
i feel the song "Don't Download This Song" is a satirization to the max. It is overexaggerating what would happen if someone were to download songs for free. they try to show that you would go to jail and get shot at by the swat team and police and get sent to jail as a 7 year old kid and even get the electric chair. This is making fun of commercials that everyone see's on TV that tell us not to download music without buying and the momentos online that also remind us not to. This uses hyberbole over exaggeration at some points as i just explained.

I think that the first video is using satire to prove that the goverment is in league with all the bussisnesses that pay them, and that the goverment is also just trying to protect themselves.
